So when this opportunity came up in Bali, I could not resist. So stay tuned, and come back and visit to read about the wonderful realizations, learnings, design compromises and realities of working within local, renewable energy sources. A sort of energy permaculture. This journey will be the first of MANY more CMG's to come.
The path that led to my involvement with this project is the culmination of 3+ years of passionate stubbornness: of networking in the Bay Area and beyond...of linking one contact to another, putting one foot in front of the other, and remaining true and passionate to a vision.... and refusing to work on projects that have any inkling of mainstream grid connections. And of one friend that fowarded an email to me - thanks Tara!

I am following the path of one of my mentors: Buckminster Fuller’s visions:
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
and
“You may assume that you are fulfilling your significance if you apply yourself to converting all your experience to the highest advantage of others.”
